Brightest Day: Equestria

The Blackest Night is upon Equestria. The War of Light has torn the spectrum asunder, paving the way for the dark powers of Death and the Black Lantern Corps to begin their assault on the world of the living.

For Life: The exclusive White Light of Life, fittingly wielded by the Princess of the Sun, provider of the life-supporting solar energies. In the midst of the Blackest Night, she shall be called upon, resurrected by the combined light of the Seven Corps, to bring about the Brightest Day, to purge the world of Nekron's evil and to restore balance to the Spectrum.

Her assassination at the hands of the Changeling Queen, now leader of the Black Lanterns, left Equestria devastated and in ultimate despair. The emotional outburst from her beloved subjects that resulted catalysed the return of Nekron and the coming of the Blackest Night. Even the six members of the Justice League, the greatest of Equestria's heroes, fell prey to grief and sorrow. It was only when the champions of the seven Corps finally reconciled their differences that the White Entity bestowed upon Celestia a resurrection, as well as the power to finally put an end to the Blackest Night, and to herald the dawn of the Brightest Day.
